There’s something quietly special about this sheepskin. At first glance, it’s a soft, creamy ivory. Clean, natural and beautifully understated. Then as the light shifts, you start to notice the gentle oyster-grey tones drifting beneath the surface of the fleece.

They don’t sit on top or form obvious markings. Instead, they move subtly through the wool, almost like shadows beneath fresh cream, giving the rug a depth that feels completely natural and a little unexpected.

This is 100% British sheepskin, sourced from UK flocks and completely undyed and unbleached. Every tone, every variation, is exactly as nature intended.

We personally visit the tannery here in the South West to hand-select each individual fleece, choosing only those with the right softness, density and character. From there, everything happens back in our small Somerset workshop.

Each rug is painstakingly hand-matched and hand-stitched by us, working fleece by fleece to ensure the tones and textures flow naturally across the piece. It’s a slow, careful process that simply can’t be rushed, and it’s what makes every rug completely unique.

The fleece itself is wonderfully full and cloud-soft underfoot, with that gentle oyster tone sitting quietly beneath the ivory, giving it a slightly cooler, more refined feel than a traditional cream.

This is proper, traditional British craftsmanship, made in tiny numbers, by a small family workshop that has been working with sheepskin since 1986.
