Shoe Box Appeal
SHEEP have always had an association with Christmas, with the shepherds being the first to visit Jesus in the Biblical story.
Now a company near Somerton is carrying on that connection, providing sheepskin accessories to homeless people in Somerset.
Sheepland Ltd, which is based in Barton St David, has been taking part in the Christmas Shoe Box Appeal for the Homeless.
The appeal has supplied more than 10,000 homeless people across the south west with clothing and footwear to keep warm in the winter.
