Made in our Somerset workshop from British rare-breed sheepskins, this rug celebrates the natural beauty of creamy, unbleached fleece and its subtle, natural markings. We hand-select fleeces for their silken texture and warm tones, then pair and hand-stitch each hide with care and attention.
These sheepskins come from small flocks grazing the green hills of the UK, helping to support traditional British farming and preserve rare breeds. This is slow, considered craftsmanship — the antithesis of mass production — rooted in our respect for nature, the animals and heritage skills. From fleece to finish everything is made under one roof by our skilled team at Sheepland Ltd.
Whether draped across a chair, laid beside the hearth or softening the floor by your bed, this rug adds warmth, softness and authentic rural character to any room. Measuring approximately 205 cm in length and 79 cm across, it’s generously sized and wonderfully comforting underfoot. For care, we include a complimentary sheepskin brush with every order.
