Sumptuously soft, naturally warm and beautifully weighty underfoot, each rug is made from 100% British fleeces — grazed, responsibly culled and traditionally tanned entirely in the UK from DEFRA-registered farms. These undyed, rare-breed fleeces retain all their natural character, giving every rug a stunning one-of-a-kind presence.

The natural brown tones are among the most striking colours nature produces. Gentle highlights develop from months spent grazing under the British sun, giving each fleece subtle depth and soft variation. No two fleeces present the same patterning; some display a deeper ‘saddle’, others a misty halo around the edges. We hand-select each sheepskin for texture, loft and distinctive markings, then carefully pair and hand-stitch every hide in our Somerset workshop.

The result is a durable, naturally insulating rug offering authentic rural heritage and exceptional comfort. The Chocolate Truffle palette layers beautifully with stone, oak, linen and wool, adding warmth and refined rustic charm to both contemporary and traditional interiors.

Perfect draped over a chair, beside the hearth or at the foot of the bed, this double sheepskin offers a grounding sense of cosiness and natural luxury. It measures approximately 196 cm long × 78 cm wide and feels wonderfully comforting underfoot. A complimentary sheepskin brush and simple care guide are included, helping you maintain softness and longevity. A gentle weekly brush lifts the fleece and enhances the natural highlights.

We photograph our rugs in natural daylight to show true, honest colour. As with all natural materials, tones shift subtly depending on lighting — an authentic hallmark of genuine sheepskin. Evening lamplight enriches the chocolate tones, while cooler daylight reveals more of the sun-warmed highlights.
