We’re incredibly proud to introduce our Natural Ivory with Grey Flecks Double Sheepskin Rug – a true labour of love, handmade in our Somerset workshop from start to finish. Crafted entirely from rare breed, undyed British sheepskins, each rug is individually hand-selected, carefully matched, and expertly stitched by us, just as we’ve been doing since 1986.
No two rugs are ever the same – every fleece has its own distinctive pattern and texture, making each piece a one-of-a-kind creation. These rare sheepskins are chosen for their luxuriously soft fur, natural warmth, and the subtle variations in colour that only nature can provide. The natural grey flecks that run through the ivory tones create an elegant, organic look that feels as rich as it is authentic.
Our “Organic” sheepskins are completely free from bleach and dyes. The hides are tanned only to preserve their natural beauty – no artificial colours and no bleach – just the raw, honest charm of British Sheepskin in its purest form.
Matching and pairing these unique fleeces is an art in itself, often taking hours of meticulous work to find the perfect blend of tones and textures. Once a rug is gone, it truly is gone – its pattern and palette can never be recreated.
Measuring approximately 210cm in length and 77cm across at its widest point, this double rug is both versatile and striking. It’s perfect draped over a chair, at the end of a bed, on a bench or window seat, in front of the fire, or even to add a soft touch of luxury to a bathroom.
Every rug is lovingly finished by hand and shipped with a complimentary sheepskin brush to help maintain its plush appearance.
