There’s something quietly special about a piece that’s been shaped by hand and heart—and The Frosted Cream is just that. Made in our Somerset workshop, this double sheepskin rug is crafted the traditional way, from start to finish, by our small family team.

Each rug begins with two rare breed British sheepskins, carefully chosen for their natural softness and beautiful markings. We don’t use dyes or bleaches—just the raw, untouched wool in all its glory. What you see is exactly what nature intended: a creamy base with soft, cool whites drifting through it, like peaks of whipped cream on a winter’s day.

No two rugs are ever the same. The patterns, colours, and textures are all part of the story each fleece brings with it—shaped by the seasons, the land, and the life it lived.

We match and stitch every pair of sheepskins by hand, taking care to preserve their character and keep that lovely, rustic edge. It’s slow work, but it’s honest work—and it’s the way we’ve always done things here.

At around 183cm by 70cm, this rug is generous in size and full of natural warmth. Drape it over a favourite armchair, stretch it along the foot of your bed, or let it soften a wooden floor by the hearth. However you use it, it brings comfort and quiet beauty in equal measure.

Each rug comes with a sheepskin brush to help you keep the wool fluffed and fresh for years to come. And because we believe in showing things as they are, our photos are taken in natural light—no filters, no studio tricks. Bear in mind, though, that the way the wool catches the light will shift from room to room, making your rug feel alive in its own way.
