Handcrafted in our Somerset workshop, this beautiful Dappled Butterscotch double sheepskin rug has a lovely sense of movement and warmth running all the way through it.
The base is a soft, creamy ivory, but what makes this one stand out are the gentle butterscotch accents that appear naturally across the fleece. Rather than sitting in one place, the colour is lightly scattered and dappled throughout, creating a soft, sun-warmed effect that shifts as the light catches it.
Some areas feel almost golden, others more subtle and blended, giving the whole piece a relaxed, organic look that feels completely natural rather than uniform. It has that easy warmth that lifts a space without ever feeling too strong.
Made from 100% British sheepskin, this rug has been carefully hand-selected, laid out and stitched together by us here in Somerset. Each fleece is chosen for its softness, density and tone, then thoughtfully matched so everything flows beautifully from end to end.
It is a slow, hands-on process, but it is what allows us to create pieces with this kind of character and balance.
The fleece is wonderfully full and soft underfoot, with those butterscotch tones bringing a gentle richness while still keeping that light, airy feel.
