100% British Twinface Shearling Rugs – Handmade in Somerset

We have a small handful of beautiful British twinface sheepskins that were left over from making our traditional moccasins, and they were simply too lovely not to finish and share.

Each one has been slow made here in our Somerset workshop, carefully hand cut, hand trimmed and hand finished by our small team. As with everything we do, it is a very hands-on, traditional process, and you can really feel that in the finished piece.

The sheepskin itself is wonderfully soft, with a dense, shorn fleece that gives a more refined, velvety finish. This makes them particularly good for helping to relieve pressure points, whilst still offering all the natural benefits of sheepskin, including being beautifully temperature regulating.

The suede side is equally lovely, smooth and durable, as you would expect from a twinface skin designed for footwear, giving these pieces a more versatile, hard-wearing quality.

As these are cut from real skins, they may be a little irregular in shape, but that is all part of their character and charm, and they are still absolutely beautiful pieces. They work beautifully as chair throws, seat covers or accents around the home, with some especially rich, luxurious colouring running through this batch.

These are true artisan pieces, made from 100% British sheepskin, and finished entirely by hand. We only have a very limited number available, and once they are gone, they are gone.
