Jacob-Style Single Sheepskin Rug – Carefully Hand-Selected 

Every so often, we come across something truly special — and these single sheepskins are exactly that. During a recent visit to our South West tannery, we were shown these wonderfully characterful fleeces, each one dyed by hand to mimic the natural markings of the much-loved Jacob sheep breed. True Jacob sheepskins are now incredibly scarce, so these cleverly finished hides offer a lovely way to enjoy that rustic Jacob charm, with warm chocolate-brown patches scattered across a soft ivory base.

We carefully hand-select each fleece for softness, colour placement and overall shape, choosing only those that stand out for their cosy feel and beautiful patterning.

These single sheepskins measure approximately 103 × 64cm, with a deep, luxurious fleece that feels wonderfully soft underfoot. It’s perfect beside a bed, draped over a chair, layered on a sofa or styled on wooden or stone flooring for instant warmth and texture. Thick, inviting and naturally cosy, it brings a relaxed, country-inspired charm to any home.
