Bring a sense of tactile luxury to your home with our Double Sheepskin Rug in Dipped Chocolate, affectionately nicknamed, because it looks as though this ivory fleece has been dipped in rich chocolate cocoa, creating some incredible depth and warmth. The cocoa shading is entirely natural, with gentle ombré transitions and occasional frosted tips that catch the light. Sumptuously soft and naturally warm, each rug is made from undyed, rare-breed British fleeces that retain their natural ivory and unique chocolate tones. No two fleeces present the same patterning; some show a darker ‘saddle’ or spine, others a soft dusk-like halo around the edges. We hand-select fleeces for their silken texture and distinctive markings, then carefully pair and hand-stitch every hide in our Somerset workshop. This thoughtful pairing preserves the softly ‘dipped’ edge, so the rug feels beautifully framed on the floor. The result is a durable, naturally insulating rug that adds authentic rural character and exceptional comfort to any room. Our sheepskins are sourced from UK farms supporting traditional farming and the conservation of rare breeds. Natural colouring varies subtly by breed and pasture, ranging from warm milk-chocolate to deeper mocha accents. This is considered, small-scale craftsmanship — fleece to finish under one roof — grounded in respect for the animal and the land.
