100% Undyed Rare Breed Natural Double Sheepskin Rug – Handmade in Somerset

We’re absolutely delighted to introduce our brand new 100% Undyed Natural Double Sheepskin Rug, affectionately nicknamed “Undyed Natural Latte”. With rich cinnamon speckles layered over a warm ivory base, this rug showcases the breathtaking variety found in rare breed sheepskins – all completely natural and entirely undyed.

Each rug is individually hand-matched, hand-selected, and carefully stitched by us here in Somerset. We’re proud to be among the last remaining makers in the region – and possibly the UK – still crafting sheepskin rugs from rare breed fleeces. It takes patience and a good eye to find skins that belong together – it’s slow work, but that’s where the magic lies.

Just finished, this rug is made from some of the most stunning “Organic” sheepskins we’ve ever worked with. While the hides have been tanned for longevity, their colours and markings remain completely untouched – no bleach, no dyes, just nature at its finest. Each sheepskin is one-of-a-kind, and these cross-breed fleeces often display incredible tones and patterns that simply can’t be replicated. When it’s gone, it really is gone.

We take immense pride in our craftsmanship. Every rug is trimmed, matched and sewn right here in our Somerset workshop – a true labour of love from start to finish.

Rug Dimensions:
Approximately 184cm in length and 74cm across the middle.

This rug is as versatile as it is beautiful – drape it over a chair or sofa, place it at the end of a bed, or let it grace the floor by your fireside. Lightweight yet luxurious, it can be easily moved around the home. And few things compare to the indulgent feeling of stepping onto a sheepskin on a chilly morning – it’s the kind of comfort you’ll never tire of.

To help you care for your rug, we include a free sheepskin brush with every purchase – keeping it looking as beautiful as the day it arrives.

We refer to these as “Organic” sheepskins due to their completely natural finish. Though we do our best to photograph each rug in natural light with no editing, please note that sheepskin is a natural product – colours may shift slightly depending on lighting conditions, adding to the charm and uniqueness of each piece.
