Extremely rare 100% British Badger Face Cross Sheepskin — bred, grazed and tanned entirely here in the UK

We are delighted to introduce this striking 100% British, undyed Badger Face Cross Sheepskin Rug, a genuine one-of-a-kind piece showcasing the distinctive markings that make this heritage breed so beloved. Measuring approximately 116cm x 87cm, it is an exceptional example of this naturally patterned fleece.

Badger Face sheep are a traditional British hill breed known for their beautiful contrast of pale, creamy wool set against darker facial stripes and richer shading along the back. These markings are completely natural to the breed and vary from animal to animal, meaning no two fleeces will ever look the same. Their wool is wonderfully soft, with a natural loft and a gentle wave that gives each rug an inviting, organic appearance.

These hardy sheep are typically found grazing on upland pastures across Wales and the South West, where their strong constitution and sure-footedness have been valued for generations. Their fleeces develop tremendous depth of colour and texture throughout the seasons, creating the characteristic “Badger Face” look—part rustic, part strikingly decorative.

This sheepskin’s natural warmth and rich character make it a standout piece in any home. It looks beautiful draped over the back of a chair, across the end of a bed or placed in front of a hearth (though your four-legged friends may well claim it as their new favourite spot!). With a quick brush every so often, the rug will keep its softness, texture and definition for years to come. A complimentary sheepskin brush is included with every purchase.

This is a truly rare fleece from a unique British breed—carefully selected for its exceptional quality, unmistakable markings and natural beauty.
