This stunning quad sheepskin rug brings the rustic charm of traditional Jacob markings into the heart of your home — all crafted slowly and by hand, the way we do things here at Sheepland.

These beautiful hides are cleverly dyed to mirror the distinctive brown-and-ivory patchwork of the Jacob sheep breed — a breed now incredibly hard to come by. On a recent visit to our South West tannery, we were shown these carefully finished sheepskins and instantly fell in love with their natural look and feel. They’re not Jacob by name, but they certainly are by nature.

We have made this stunning Quad by meticulously matching, cutting, and hand-stitching four individual sheepskins in our Somerset workshop. We work skin by skin, paying close attention to colour and pattern, to ensure a seamless and balanced finish. Each rug has a little natural variation and that’s exactly what makes them so exciting.

This quad rug is perfect for larger spaces, offering luxurious warmth underfoot and an eye-catching statement wherever it is placed. Whether laid across a wooden floor, used to soften a stone hearth, or draped over the end of a large bed, this piece will bring a comforting rustic texture into any setting.

This sheepskin measures approximately 200cm in length and 114cm in width, with soft, long fleece and the signature Jacob-style colouring.
