Sumptuously soft and naturally warm, each rug is made from undyed, rare-breed British fleeces that retain their natural ivory and unique pumpkin-spice tones. No two fleeces present the same patterning; some show a tawny ‘saddle’ or spine, others a dusk-like halo at the edges. We hand-select fleeces for their silken texture and distinctive markings, then carefully pair and hand-stitch every hide in our Somerset workshop. This thoughtful pairing preserves the natural shading so the rug feels beautifully framed on the floor. The result is a durable, naturally insulating rug that adds authentic rural character and exceptional comfort to any room. Our sheepskins are sourced from UK farms that support traditional farming and the conservation of rare breeds. Natural colouring varies subtly by breed and pasture, ranging from soft ivory to light pumpkin and tawny accents. This is considered, small-scale craftsmanship — fleece to finish under one roof — grounded in respect for the animal and the land.

Measuring approximately 203 cm long × 71 cm wide and wonderfully comforting underfoot. Each order includes a complimentary sheepskin brush and simple care advice to maintain softness and longevity. We always photograph our rugs in natural daylight to show authentic colours; as with all natural materials, tones may vary slightly depending on lighting — an honest characteristic of genuine sheepskin. Evening lamplight tends to warm the pumpkin tones, while north light reveals more of the ivory.
