Café Noir is a wonderfully rich and characterful double sheepskin rug, showcasing deep natural coffee tones with layers of espresso, cocoa and dark roast highlights running throughout the fleece. Dark British sheepskins of this quality are becoming increasingly difficult to source, making pieces like this ever harder to create.

Made from British sheepskins, sourced from sheep reared, grazed and culled here in the UK, the skins are then expertly tanned within the EU before arriving at our Somerset workshop. There, we carefully hand-match, stitch and finish each rug by hand, creating a truly characterful piece for the home.

At an impressive 215 cm × 82 cm, this would ordinarily be sold as one of our Supersize Double rugs. However, this particular piece has been reduced in price due to a slight variation in fur length in the centre of one of the skins. The difference is minimal and barely noticeable in everyday use, making this a genuine bargain for anyone looking for an exceptional British sheepskin rug at a reduced price.

The fleece is beautifully soft, dense and luxurious, with the rich natural colouring creating a warm and inviting focal point in any room. Perfect beside a bed, draped over furniture or placed in front of a fireplace.

As with all genuine sheepskins, natural variations in tone, texture and shape are part of their charm and ensure no two rugs are ever identical.
