These beautiful rugs come from heritage Jacob sheep, one of the most distinctive and historic breeds, renowned for their striking brown and ivory markings. Each hide has been tanned in Europe to the highest standards, ensuring a soft, supple finish that highlights the natural beauty of the wool.

The Jacob is an heirloom breed, descended from ancient Old World sheep and remarkably unchanged through the centuries. Their distinctive “piebald” pattern — a blend of creamy whites and rich, dark browns — makes each skin completely unique. The colouring has been left undyed and as nature intended, celebrating the individuality of every animal.

These sheepskins are rare and increasingly sought-after, not only for their visual appeal but for their beautifully soft, short fleece that feels luxurious and tactile under hand.
