Part of our 100% British Jacob Sheepskin collection, this is a true heritage breed fleece, known for its distinctive natural colouring and striking contrast. No two are ever the same. These rare breed sheepskins are becoming increasingly scarce, making each one a little piece of British farming heritage.
Every skin is 100% British, bred, grazed and processed here in the UK, before being tanned in the South West. From field to finish, it is a thoroughly British sheepskin, something we are incredibly proud to work with.
We hand-select each fleece at the tannery, choosing only those with the best character, markings and feel. Once here in our Somerset workshop, every rug is carefully hand trimmed and finished by us, ensuring it sits beautifully and feels just right underfoot or draped over a chair.

Naturally breathable, sheepskin helps to regulate temperature, warm in the winter and comfortable year-round. Whether placed beside a bed, in front of the fire or over a favourite chair, it brings both comfort and character to a space. Though fair warning, they are often quickly claimed by four-legged members of the household.

We call these “Organic” sheepskins because they are entirely free of any bleach or dye, they have still been tanned to preserve the hide, but the colouring and patterns have been left 100% utterly as nature intended. We do our very best to take these photographs in natural light and we do not alter the colouring post production. However as much as we try to give a clear reflection on the colouring, sheepskin is a natural product and in some lights tones may appear differently, this is the beauty of buying such a unique sheepskin.
