Speckled Latte – Supersize British Undyed Double Sheepskin Rug (220cm x 83cm)

This exceptional sheepskin rug measures approximately 220cm in length and 83cm across the middle, making it one of the most impressive supersize doubles we’ve ever had the pleasure of offering. It’s a true showstopper — a rare combination of natural beauty, standout colouring and extraordinary scale.

We’re calling this one “Speckled Latte”, inspired by its wonderfully creamy base scattered with soft mocha and latte-brown speckles. The markings are naturally formed and beautifully organic, giving the fleece an unmistakably luxurious character. The speckling dances across the length of the rug in a gentle, irregular pattern reminiscent of warm milk infused with chocolate, creating a depth and texture that feels both elegant and inviting. It is, quite simply, spectacular.

Our recent visit to our South West tannery was a genuine highlight, as we were able to hand-select only a tiny number of these incredibly rare 100% British, undyed, rare breed sheepskins. These supersize doubles are giants in the sheepskin world — heavy, dense and cloud-soft, with a fur texture that’s unlike anything else. Matching two fleeces of this rarity, colour and quality is a painstaking and highly skilled process, and the result is a rug of extraordinary harmony and balance.

Every element of this piece is proudly British. The sheep are bred and grazed on UK pastures, processed within the UK and tanned here too, before being individually chosen and finished by us in our Somerset workshop. We maintain close relationships with small farms across the UK, allowing us to support British agriculture while selecting only the very finest fleeces for our Sheepland collection.
