Handcrafted 100% Undyed Silky Soft Natural Rare Breed Double Rug – Speckled Fawn – Made In Somerset

Fresh off our sewing machine, we’ve nicknamed this rug “Dipped Chocolate” , we are delighted to share our latest design with you. Hand matched, cut, brushed and stitched here in Somerset, with our own fair hands, we are rather proud of our handiwork matching these incredible Rare Breed Sheepskins into this stunning double rug. This has been made from a specific EU sheepskin , which we have gone out of our way to source, to find the softest fur we could. These are incredibly lightweight, yet the fur softness has to be touched to be believed, it is exceptional, very similar to the Toscana sheepskins used in clothing, these are a real treat. As you can see this rug is completely free from harsh dyes and bleaches, the patterns and colours are exactly how nature intended, the highlights in the fleece are often as a result of many months grazing in the fields. The colouring is so unique, that no one will ever have the same rug as you, yours is completely individual and perfect for those who want something a little different and quirky.

Hand-selected from EU native breeds, these are from sheep bred on the continent, they tend to be slightly smaller in size, but with stunning silky smooth fur, with the suede on the skin side butter soft to touch. These are ideal for those who want a sheepskin without the usual bulk and weight.Once this lovely rug is gone, it’s gone! We have hand matched, hand stitched and hand finished this rug all from our Workshop. Chosen by hand, it looks fantastic with it’s unique colouring, softness and exceptional quality. These Rare Breed Rugs are perfect around the home, they can be used as chair throws, at the end of a bed, stool covers, in window seats, in front of a fire or even in a bathroom!

We do our very best to take these photographs in natural light and we do not alter the colouring post production. However as much as we try to give a clear reflection on the colouring, sheepskin is a natural product and in some lights tones may appear differently, this is the beauty of buying such a unique sheepskin.
