From the rolling hills of Somerset, we bring you something truly special—our 100% British Rare Breed Double Sheepskin Rug, made entirely by hand here at Sheepland. Crafted with care, each rug is a reflection of the land it comes from: honest, natural, and quietly beautiful.

This particular rug features a soft, gentle tone we’ve fondly named “Cotswold Cream”. It carries a whisper of golden warmth, resting on a creamy ivory base—earthy, subtle, and full of character. No dyes, no bleaches—just nature in her purest form.

Every fleece is handpicked from rare British breeds, known for their lush softness and unique markings. We’ve worked with many sheepskins over the years, but the texture of this one is among the most touchable we’ve ever laid our hands on—silky, supple, and deeply comforting.

At Sheepland, we’re one of the last few still making rugs the old way—by hand, with heart. From carefully pairing each skin, to stitching them together with precision and finishing each piece lovingly, our tiny team takes pride in preserving traditional skills and producing heirloom-quality pieces. No two fleeces are ever the same, so once this rug finds a home, it’s truly gone—never to be made again.
